Why does a 0.34 W/m²K centre-pane U-value matter?
A centre-pane U-value of 0.34 W/m²K allows less than half the heat loss of high-spec triple glazing. Designers gain lower energy demand and a simpler route to 2025 Part L compliance. Because the figure measures the glass alone (without the frame), it represents the unit’s maximum insulation.

Is 0.34 W/m²K a whole-window U-value?
No. It measures the glass only. Frames and spacers raise the overall value, although larger panes still benefit because edges make up a smaller share of their area.
